Installed the KYB gas adjust rear shocks from tire rack. These are amazing. The old bilstien's were completely gone. The EXT rides much more firm now and no more annoying bounce with a full load of family and luggage at freeway speeds. Got the set for $94, and tire rack ships fast. Next up is the KYB gas adjust struts for the front. Any forums for strut replacement? I know I will need a spring compressor, will I also need a new front end alignment? OBTW the "sqweak" in the front end often times attributed to hood bumpers is in fact the lower control arm bushings. While doing my brakes I hit them with a few blasts of liquid silicone. Sqweak gone. To do this well the front tires need to be removed. Thanks

I'm constantly amazed that the word about shocks being bad MUCH earlier than 50K miles isn't spreading. But glad you're happy now. Besides this forum, we discuss strut work all the time in the Offroad forum. Run a search.
