Kicker does the same or at least use to, I have a kicker 3004. that's rated at whatever the stock ratings are, but put out almost 20rms per channel more then the initial ratings... This is about a 4 year old kicker amp... so not sure what they do now or how they are in quality but I've been a huge Kicker fan when it came to subs anyway!
