I just received a new CAI for my 05 LT 4wd:woohoo:. In the instructions that came with the kit, it tells me to install a grommet into the hole on the back of the intake tube which is where the air temp sensor goes into. But my intake tube that came in the kit has no hole to put this grommet into. Does my TB have a air temp sensor? I don't have it available to look under the hood. Did I get shipped a wrong intake tube? Anybody see this while installing this kit on their TB?

Thanks,
Dustin

On some CAI's, you have to drill a hole yourself. My AFE was like that, simply because of vehicle changes specific to years.

Weird, in the instructions it has me drill a hole in the intake tube for the secondary air injection hose/connector but it doesn't say anything about drilling a hole for this air temp module.

thanks though

One hole cut in my 77series, the rest were already there. Well not holes but you catch my drift.
