I have had the car to the dealers a couple times and dont seem to get the results , Car still misses at idol and will thro code after a bit 4.2 i-6 .. clear code and it will come back after awhile . Been thinking on just trading it lol

Why not run the truck over to Auto Zone and find out what codes are coming up. Then head over to youtube to watch how the necessary repair is done ?
You just might save a bunch of money.
geez, I sound like a geiko commercial

Sounds like a coil pack gone bad
Did the Auto Zone guys/girls tell you what codes were set? Or did it even set codes.

-No local mechanic with a good reputation instead of the dealer?

Hope you get it sorted out.
