i connect my amp and got power to it and now i just need to run the wires to the door speakers. im not sure which wires to connect them to behind the speaker. any help please? thanks

It's been a long time since i hooked up a system but shouldn't there be two wires a positive and a negative? With the red being pos and the black being neg. I could be wrong but I am sure someone else will chime in.

If you have the original speakers in your hand, their wires and colors should be very obvious.

instead of wiring it up straight to the doors..just wire them up thru the hu..thats what i did for all my mids and highs..i just didnt wana bother going thru alot of trouble...your speaker wires colors are?if i remember right(since wired up my mids and high amp yesterday)

white-white with black= front left
green-green with black= rear left
gray-gray with black=front left

dont remember the other color...hope this helps you!..

i think the only "smart ass" comment is your interpretation of roadies attempt to keep you in check. if you gave 42 minutes and started blasting the mods and other members for not rushing to your rescue, perhaps you deserve those comments or a slap on the wrist. in addition, $100 says that there is already a thread or 15 that has the information you were so awfully desperate for. :m2:

This is not a brick and mortar store, we are here to help you and others, not serve you. Believe it or not, some of the members have jobs and are not available to bow down and serve you the moment you ask a question in the middle of the day. If you dont like the service here I suggest you contact the dept. manager and file a complaint for us not answering all of your questions in 42 min. or less.
