I just failed an inspection. I have a 2006 TB.They said that the brakes work perfect but when you apply the PB, the left rear does not provide any resistance. Does anyone have any diagrams or step by step method for this?
Each rear drum has an adjuster wheel. If you pull the rear disk that is causing your problem you may find that it is seized. Once you have freed it up then you can adjust it out so that the drum part fits over it easily by first making it tight them backing it off.
You will see right away if you need new e-brake shoes and go from there. :m2:
I have an 05 TB and on the driver side, the star wheel when turned pushes out the ER Brake pad, but on the passenger side, the star appears to do nothing when turned. Is it possible for the star wheel to malfunction. This could be what 's causing my ER brakes not to hold well??
