I just hit 36K miles on my Envoy Denali, luckily I have the Major Guard GMPP. But I just noticed that at low speeds driving through the streets that I get this high pitched squeak coming from the front end, IT IS ANNOYING!!!

2 - Questions....

1 - Does anyone know where it might be coming from?

2 - Will the cover it on my GMPP?

My other problem, is that my dealership is gone. I have to go to a new dealership for service. And around here (Queens, NY) they still have the same old "Did you buy the car from us?" B.S. question. And when you tell them "no" you get substandard service if none at all. Not looking forward to go this shop.

Thanks..:suicide:

I would first check the bump stops for your hood. Located at the front of the engine bay, directly above the headlights, they are hexagonal threaded inserts that you need to "unscrew" to bring up higher. That will press more firmly against the hood, and should stop the squeaking if they are indeed the problem.
