After a 7 hour drive home i figured out, i would like the car to ride smoother and handle better. I know its a suv and its not suppose to drive like a lexus. So I was wondering whats a good way to have it drive better with less bounce and more smooth with better handling? Where to get the parts and whats the best set up for me. Thank you

Biggest issue is our trucks, especially the XL/EXT models need more shock! - With the exception of the SS, they come somewhat under shocked from the factory for a soft highway ride. Add a few thousand miles and those barely adequate shocks become inadequate. If you want to 'smooth' it out and reduce the porpoising motions, new/better shocks are what you want. If you can find the original blue/yellow SS shocks, grab them, they're about as good as they get. Otherwise HD Bilsteins or one of the after market models should help smooth things down.......when it comes to shocks, you do tend to get what you paid for, so don't go ultra-cheap.

Crawl under the back, do you see a coil or do you see air bags?

BTW... Would you like to gain some brownie points with some of the senior members of this community? It's REAL simple, just crawl under the front of your TV where your front springs are... Look for a tag attached to the springs. Make note of the code written on each tag as well as the color of the tag. Then go to your glove box, you'll notice a little label on there with a bunch of codes.... make note of all the codes that start with 6's or 7's...

Take that very important information, and post in this thread... http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=58599

This very quick process would be of much appreciation to the community!
