I need help, my ecass in my envoy has stopped working properly now that cold weather is here. The compressor will cycle when I first start the truck up but does not lift the rear up. It will continue to try to lift the truck until the compressor cuts out on overheat and then cycle on and off and I'm afraid that it will burn out. I got out to check it out once and it seems like when it tries to lift and shuts off, the rear end will actually sink even lower until it is at the point where it is bottoming out on the axle! If I bring the truck inside where it is warm, it works like a charm. Anybody have any ideas? One of the guys at work suggested it might air in the lines freezing up. Could this be the problem? Where does the compressor get it's air from? It seems to me that if there is no way of drying the air, moisture is inevitable.
