So we went to change the air filter and found the last service tech screwed right through after inspecting the filter. Can you tell me what this wire bundle goes to?

That's the front and/or rear windshield washer pump wiring and I think I can see the top of the pump retainer on one of them.

Thanks! That’s what we were thinking. (Or the ac low pressure switch).

Do you think if we turn on the pump it will short that wire out causing more damage?

What’s the best way to repair? Strip them and solder? Or would it be easy to replace the wire? Does it come as a part?

If you REALLY suspect they were "impinged" or "impaled" then take a sharp knife [or X-acto blade[ and carefully cut the wrapping and visually see if there's any wire/insulation damage.

At that point, just tape them up (individually, of course) and try to blend the new tape into the old covering you just purposely sliced open.

It ain't rocket surgery! {lol}
