Ok so this is probably gonna be long but i want you all to get all the info so that hopefully you can help me. I was at the store where my struck was parked for about 2 hours. I come out and my truck mount start. Makes a click noise kinda like when the batery is dead, but battery meter in dash looks good and lights radio everything else seems to have full power. i try it a few more times thinking maybe there just isint enough power to start; I new it wasn't the battery but was really hoping it would be that simple. So after a couple of tries my lcd screen says low oil pressure, i check and dip stick is bone dry. So luckily a women in the parking lot gave me a quick ride to mobile and back for oil. I get back with oil and just for s**ts & giggles I try to start it one more try and it turns over no problem, nothing about oil on screen, oil pressure gauge where it should be and no warning lights. So to be safe I double check my dip stick and its perfect. I'm 16 miles from home (15.5 is high way), i drive my truck and my service engine light (not sure what light it actually is, it's the light at the top just left of the center, picture of an engine but does not have any works that light up.
So when i get home i use my code reader and get:
po335 - crankshaft position sensor A circuit and
po340 - camshaft position sensor A circuit (bank 1 or single sensor)
I actually just checked my codes for the h**l of it a couple weeks ago and there were no codes then so these both just started.
Do you guys have any idea of the cost for the sensors from advanced or auto zone? I'm thinking of dwitching these out for new ones then getting and oil change and engine flush and cleaning the Throutle body. Should that solve this or is there something deeper causing this. Also at my last oil change about 7k miles ago i had an engine flush done.:bonk:
THANKS FOR ANY HELP
