Help, 04 Envoy wont start electrical issues

I own a 2004 Envoy SLT. I went out to put something in the car and noticed the car would not unlock. I opened the door with the key and hooked up the car to a battery charger, we noticed the battery was charging really slow. Once the battery was charged, I attempted to start the car with no luck. The dash said unknown driver and the car would not turn over or even click. I tried looking online and all the solutions I found did not help. I had the car towed to a shop where they said it was the gauge cluster. The repair was expensive and i was unsure if this was the issue so I had it towed back. A few days later I went out and the car started somehow. The dash still said unknown driver and the only two gauges that worked where RPM and speed. The radio was off but if the car was shook by someone, the radio would sometimes come on as well as the other gauges and it would recognize the driver. I tried multiple times throughout the day and the car started. the next day I went to start it and it went back to how it was before where it would not click at all. I disconnected the battery ground side ad hooked up a multimeter. The system was drawing 2.8 amps with the car off when a normal draw is less than .5 amps. I started pulling fuses and noticed a drop of 1.6 amps when I pulled the radio fuse. I checked the grounding location for the radio (on the passenger side near the center console) and it seemed to be fine, I pulled the radio fuse and tried to start it with no luck. If anyone has any input that they think would help or ideas to check, please let me know. Thanks

Also, the system is still drawing about 1.2 amps with the radio and onstar fuses pulled and occasionally when disconnecting the battery, the light cleaner sprayer goes off.
