Hi, guys! I'm from St. Petersburg, "a museum under the open sky" as it's called. I can say TB is a quite popular all-road vehicle in Russia. I became an owner of black LTZ '04 this year and found it rather comfortable, dynamic and even "more off-road" than it looks like... Occasionally, I've already tested it on some countryside road - if it could be named a road after the rain:laugh: - and my TB was diving into puddles up to door edges deep from time to time but kept moving and kneading a mesh with no small doubt it couldn't do that. Low clearance and step bars didn't allow my TB to follow the Disco III with air suspension of the friend of mine at his speed (lift-and-go) but I reached the end of the "road" without any help, so I was very proud of my car.
Remembering that, here, at this forum, I saw some off-road lifting sets, so I start thinking of them. 2''-2.5'' up is the best fit for Russia. You know, we've got a joke: "How was a summer this year? - Oh, I don't remember - I worked that day..." As for St. Petersburg it's damn right - very short summer, early and long-lasting fall with plenty of rain which transforms into snowy winter lasting until March, and after that - mud, mud, mud until May. What else you should drive other than all-roader?
Well, I hope I'll find many usefull things here and tell you something else.:tiphat
