Was replacing my serpentine belt on 02 blazer 4.2, gave the hoses a once over . The radiator hoses look easy enough to replace, but the heater hoses have oem fittings on the ends, which no auto parts store carries,at least in my neck of the woods.

Went to to the dealer and found the hoses are no longer available, and there is no replacement.

But, they do have the quick connect ends available(about $7 each),and a regular 5/8 hose can be clamped on to them. This is for the connections at the firewall.
There is a heat shield on the oem hose which I am going to remove and reinstall on the new hose.

Also, found the thermostat is also an oem,and comes encased in the housing. That is available at the auto parts store, about 24$.Mine said made in germany on it.

Don't know if this is just 2002,anyone else see this?
