Hi all, Im new here and not very tech savy with cars. I went to change the low beam bulb in my 02 Chevy Trailblazer and I noticed that the internal wiring connecting to the bulb itself had burned out. I called autozone and asked if the guy knew if I could replaced that or not and he said I could. He said the wiring inside is called a pigtail headlamp wire. I have no idea how to disassemble this headlamp as Ive already snapped off two of the clamps that I thought were holding it together. I looked around online and saw that some require going in the oven or using a hairdryer to make it come apart. I tried the hairdryer to no avail and Im skeptical of putting it in the oven.
Any help I can be given on this would be greatly appreciated. I dont feel like replacing this whole piece from a junkyard or new, I already need to put new tires on this beast.
Thanks again!
