Ok, so I'm conducting a survey for a school paper, and I need to know the following from those who calculate their own mileage on their TVs

Vehicle type (incl XL/EXT/XUV if yours is one of them):
Gas mileage:
Engine:
Tire type (A/T, H/T, etc):
Any mods that can increase or decrease performance (ECM tuning, oversized tires, roof cargo carriers, etc):

Thanks

have no idea how u have so many miles changing the oil on regular oil 11,500 miles seems really stupid to me, even if it was synthetic
those of you putting anything other then 87 in a regular compression engine are also wasting it

He goes by the oil life meter like others prefer to do... that is simple preference...

as far as anyone putting more than 87... the one who is is tuned and the SS calls for 93+... besides it's only $2-$4 more a fill up anyway... I just put 93 in mine today and got the best mileage I've ever had in my truck  20.184 :D loved that... and I am tuned to 89

This is the only one I thought was strange... should be running prem.

Alright. Thanks everyone for their answers.

Here's my data
15.65 MPG city on 89 gas.
No mods besides a tiny Sirius antenna and no FM antenna (got tired of seeing it).

The average for the I6 4.2 based on the answers and my info is 15.87. Pretty close to the EPA estimate.

This may shock some of you.

City: 18mpg (everyday to work stop and go):hail:

Highway: 24mpg (visit sister about 259 miles away):hail:

Mods: K&N (+2 mpg), Borla exhaust, and a thing called the tornado (+1 mpg)

Tires: Kost special: Widetrack Baja AT. About 6k on them so far and wearing beautiful.

I always change the oil at the 3,000 mark because of frequent stop and go traveling. I just had the tranny serviced today at 77k. I also had a recent tune up. :D
