Hello TrailVoy Community!

My front wipers are stalling, intermittently. Sometimes they work fine; sometimes they need a nudge to wake them up. I can't tell whether it's the wiper motor, a wiring problem, or possibly the control switch. Any suggestions before I pay through the nose to have the problem diagnosed by a dealer?

Thanks!

Almost always the wiper motor with its integrated electronic control module. That handles the parking function if they ever stop in the middle of a wipe and don't go home. The switch is usually more reliable. The motor hangs out in a place where rain can drip into it and corrode the module - newer versions are better sealed and/or have a shield to divert the drips. Check Ebay for replacements. Run a search for "wiper motor" here.
