I have a 2004 Envoy. I've recently picked up a vibration that feels like something is spinning that shouldn't be in my front end. I used to drive a Jimmy and the hubs would get stuck and not disengage after I used 4WD. This feels very similar. I can switch in and out of 4WD, but the vibration does not go away. It is more noticeable on the drivers side.

Any ideas what this could be? It is very annoying and probably not great for the front end to be driving around like this.

Thanks

We don't have disconnectable hubs, so the wheels are always making the CV shaftf spin, plus the differential guts. Could be any of those parts. When was the last time you checked the transfer case fluid (and changed it at 50K?) and the diff oil level?

Jack stand it and rotate and wiggle things, is the next step.
