Now that I have my new Bilstien HD struts on the front end of my TB I'm getting a creaking noise. Usually when the vehicle is coming to a stop and the front end is dipping slightly is when you hear it the worst. Did I maybe not torque them correctly? Anyone, anyone, Bueller? Thanks Brad

There are only a couple of things that can cause that creaking sound.

1) Since you just installed HD shocks, did you torque the lower yoke nut to spec? (It tightens to around 85 ft/lbs).

2) Check the rubber hood stops, they need to be adjusted to make firm contact w/o lifting the hood, clean and lightly lubed with lithium grease.

3) Next up is the swap bar to frame bushings, make sure they're lubed with synthetic grease.

4) If she still creaks, grab a can of silicone spray and wet down the lower control arm bushings and take her for a test spin. If the creaking is gone, you need new control arm to frame brackets....my passenger side was torn up in around 30k miles, driver side is still good at almost 50k.
