Just today after i was let out of school a friend of mine wanted to "show me up" at the track with his 2000-something silverado quadrasteer w/ dual flowmasters. So, me being the guy i am, i decided to take the bait. We met up at one of his dad's friend's strips. My 2005 Trailblazer EXT w/ V8 and 3.73 gears is unmodded completely, nothing but pure OEM. So, we get up to this line and he starts revving his ****, and my stock exhaust obviously cant compare, so i chose not to waste my gas. The light flicked green and we took off; for a minute my blazer lagged, maybe a millisecond, but right after I felt my 8 cylinder light up and i pulled his ass. By the time i looked back he was probably 6 cars behind me. it was the first time I had actually raced so I gave it a good ol' dash pat
