Hello! Just found this forum last weekend and decided to get an informed opinion from you guys. I own a 2004 Envoy Xl with the 5.3 V8 and I had the transmission rebuilt a few years ago. Anyways, it’s in great condition and I enjoy how the envoy sits and how much room you have in the cabin, and even the 290 hsprw from the V8 it provides enough power to make a smile. I do want to keep it for a while but I want to give it some more power. I’m currently looking at putting a turbo in it, but I can’t find anyone doing it to the V8 so I am lost right now. I also assume installing one is very difficult, based of what videos I’ve watched and stuff. If anyone could give me some advice here it would be much appreciated! Thank you!
