Last week I purchased a VERY NICE 2008 Envoy Denali. Working my way thru the owners manual I cannot determine if this rig has the air shocks??????. Crawled under the rear end and did not see any coil springs, airbags, or what I would suspect to be the tubing to inflate them if need be (assuming they are factory installed)

1: Does this rig come standard with air shocks??

If "Yes" can someone point to any info elaborating or just explaining the operation etc.

Thanks

Daryl:rolleyes:

Denali air suspension

All Denali's have rear air springs in place of the coils. These are not air over shocks. I have an 07 Denali and they have worked perfectly and maintain a level height no matter what the load. I tow a 5000# boat with about 300# at the hitch and it will bring it right up to the unloaded height. If your car still has them working you should hear the compressor run occasionally. There are height sensors at each rear wheel with valves so it can adjust for uneven loads. I have 168,000 miles on mine with out any problems.
