You will need 2 Qt. Get a piece of 3/8 rubber gas line hose about 8" long put on the end of the bottle. This will help in holding the bottle up. Insert in fill hole. Normal fill will be about 1.9qts, but if you can get all of it in there great. Remove and replace fill plug.

stopped by the store- no one had FULL synthetic gear oil. All I saw was Valvolive- but it was not synthetic. Reading around it seems that few meet the GM spec 9986115- I wonder whats special about it?
I also emailed Mobil 1 this morning- maybe theyve updated their specs?

Going through flushing all old fluids. I was trying to get the rear differential fill plug out and that sucker will not budge. During my attempts to remove, I rounded some of the fill plug.

I still have not gotten it off, and wanted to get some suggestions on how to get it off, and also the part number of a new fill plug so I can replace it when I finally get it off.

thanks in advance

edit: rear differential plug number is 444788

You need a 3/8 square drive with no locking ball bearing so it fits all the way in the plug. I think plumbing stores have them.
