Howdy folks. I apologize for the possible repeated question, as I didn't see this issue addressed.

The front passenger side door panel has broken off. The previous owner wasn't terribly kind to it, and even tried using a self-tapping screw to keep it in place.

I would like to order a replacement, but am uncertain how to request the specific color/ material for it. I have a black with tan leather interior. I have seen 28h/ 27/ 482 or whatnot.

How can I identify my existing color code to ensure the correct replacement?

I just realized that I posted this inquiry twice. Doh!!!

After numerous phone calls to the dealership and Chevy themselves, this is what I have been able to come up with...

272 refers to a leather interior.

27I (271?) refers to black and tan (pardon me, ebony and cashmere) with leather seats.

27H refers to black and tan with cloth seats.

However, it is possible (in my head anyway) that the seating material does not necessarily have to match the door trim material.

It is possible that the material for the door trim panel is standard for both leather seats or cloth seats. And of course it is possible that the material for the door trim panel is different than the seating.

The problem is that I can't find anyone who knows for certain.

Help?
