04 Envoy base model I6

So, I drive about 12 miles a day through the inner streets of Brooklyn for work. It doesnt go above 35mph and I do not drive it much outside of work.

SHOULD it be taken on the highway periodically? To get the oil going/different gears shifting/RPMs up/ etc? She handles greta on the highway when I have driven on it, but I do not get on there a lot.

Or maybe I will just wear and tear the car more on the highway?

Thanks!

Take it out on the Cross Island, The Belt or the Southern State once in awhile. Middle of the day so you're not sitting in bumper to bumper.

THIS guy knows brooklyn! : D. lol the southern state is a ways, but I live a few minutes from the Belt. If I get on there around 3-4am, there isn't TOO much traffic!
I live on Long Island. I'm a bit familiar with these roads and how shitty Brooklyn driving can be.
