got a question guys i got a check engine light for the cooling fan relay and i changed it and the light came back. the only other thing that came up is that it could be the connector or some wiring problem. has anyone had this problem before?

there is an older post where a schematic shows where to look for schaffed wiring on the fan clutch...

the code is p0483

autozone read it out and it said the probable cause was the cooling fan relay or check connector and wiring

roadie u know where there talkin about when its sayin wiring cause i changed the relay already

As rbarrios hinted at, there's a chance for chafed wiring in the harness going to the fan clutch, the unit connected to the fan. There are four wires in a plastic channel leading to the driver's side of the fan shroud. Disassemble that area and look for damaged insulation. Could also hbe a fault inside the fan clutch.

alright cool thanks guys ill check it out lets hope that its just some chaffed wires that i can fix
