You having an 02 I bet you have the orange tipped dipstick which is a royal PITA to read. My dads first 05 TB, 04 EXT and his new 05 TB all had the metal tipped dipstick and it's easier to read. My 02 has the orange one and I never check it at the oil change. Only on my weekly checks.
