I own a 04 TB with the standard stereo system, but the other day I noticed the pushbutton that says CD also has Aux underneath it... If I removed the deck to see what's back there would I find an Aux plug that I could say plug my MP3 player into? I'm really thinking about purchasing a new deck for my TB that has the Aux inputs, but if the factory stereo already has it hidden back there I'd rather use that for now.

Any ideas?? (I know this is a VERY long shot, but worth asking! :D)

I believe it's for an OEM CD changer, or SAT. You can get an adapter for an AUX input. I'm sure one of the audio Guru's will chime in soon, i'm not too sure of the specific adapter, but i know it's possible.

Hello Raptor3DPilot,

Way back I had the same question and folks here helped, trying to save you time and effort. The CD/AUX button you see there is for the factory OverHead and/or Rear Entertainment system only. To get another audio source pipped in, you will need third party adapter as mentioned in the Sticky Notes at the front of the section.

Regards, CCI_TBLT.
