Hi all

Im new and currently looking to buy a Trailblazer to take on a long roadtrip.
Now i wondered wether the cargo area is long enough, with the 2nd seat row folded down, to sleep in the back on a matress.

I did this two years ago with a 2004 Explorer and it worked just fine. I'm just not sure wether the Trailblazer is just as long as the Explorer.

Could someone measure how long the area in the back is? I would greatly appreciate it:thumbsup:

Also is the cargo area completely flat? Or is there a little "step up" from foolding the seats? I cant seem to find any info or pictures on that.

I'm looking at this Trailblazer right now:

Are there any differences in cargo area lenght between the different models?

Thanks for the help:thx

My 2003 Envoy is about 84 inches from back of front seat to lift gate.

However, it is not flat. There is a small panel that flips up from the back of the 3rd row seats to cover the gap between it and the 2nd row, but overall, it slopes down from the front to rear.

You could probably put a mattress in it, but you would have to sleep with your head towards the front.
