2005 Silverado 1500 4x4 5.3L When I bought it a couple years ago, had the steering box replaced during the inspection because of a leak. Truck ran decent for a long time until it started blowing high pressure PS hoses every couple months. Had every component changed, steering box, hoses, pump and it didnt last. This time the pump actually broke its impeller, so it was replaced.https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/https://192168ll.link/
I dont take it to the mechanic anymore because obviously they didnt fix it and I'm running out of money. At this point a hose lasts.about 1000km before going.
Is there anything specific I should check myself, or anyone who has run into this, before I take it back in again?

Not sure what brand of hoses you used, but when I replaced my power steering hoses, I used Gates brand without any problems. Also, I do not know how to do a pressure test on a power steering system.

Also use the newest GM fluid as it does not rot the hose,
but your problem sounds like a blockage somewhere in the system.
