02 trailblazer,4.2 I6... while replacing my waterpump (which is just apin in the arse) i hit the camshaft sensor witha hammer and broke it, bought NEW Sensor code reader said sensor problem..
im unsure if a broke a pin in the connector but someone said i may ned to "FLASH" the ecm for this problem cause i have been running it without the sensor. bad idle and getting worse the more i drive it..

any truth to this?? or does anyone know a way to jump the sensor WITHOUT A scope or a reader???????

Jump what? The ECM needs the signal from the sensor you can't "fake it out".
The sensor is $40. It's broken, replace it. You will not need to "flash" anything.

p0113 iat sensor
p0345 cam actuator solenoid problems

no leaks in manifold,or throttle body or intake.
didnt find a short wire
now wont run.
maybe the PCM went bad, which is not often?

getting a bit overwhelming
