So, I think I broke my passenber side wiper arm! it got stucki in the ice and when it got looose began only wiping part of my window I pushed it back down to where it was "suppose" to be a starting position but no luck when I turn them on it just flops over. Did I strip it ? can I just tighten it back down? I need help guys.......:confused::sadcry:

wiper arm broken.

remove the plastic cover over the nut, then remove the nut. Sounds like it is stripped. next question is did it strip the inside of the wiper arm or the wiper regulator drive? If it stripped the post,, may need to replace the entire wiper regulator. Not too hard to change . entire wiper regulator asembly is held on with 2 bolts. search this site for info on replacing wiper motor.

I've just added photos to the wiper module replacement (link), which might be useful if you have to do so. I hope you don't, but I'm not very optimistic since the wiper transmission looks thinner and easier to twist than the wiper arm itself.
