Hello all,,
so I know that a lot of us blur, crop out, or otherwise hide our license plate numbers when we post pics of our cars. The main reason is, of course, privacy. This leads me to question: what exactly can the average person do with knowledge of somebody's license plate #? All I know in CA is you can look up a vehicle's smog history, and you used to be able to use that to find out the VIN, but now they've separated that info https://100001.onl/ https://1921681254.mx/ https://happymod.site/.

I agree. Plates are out in the open for everyone to see anyway - so what's the big deal?

Now if you've stolen the car and haven't changed to some 'cold plates' as of yet, then by all means, blank out the numbers!

The FBI, NSA. CIA, local authorities and the original owner of the vehicle will be watching for that plate to pop up somewhere.

You'll get visitors.
