Well, I'd certainly recommend member markmc's kit over the SuspensionMAXX, but the shocks are entirely a function of the mission you have with the truck, which you didn't share. For maximum articulation with a lift in the rear, you need something a couple of inches longer than stock. Many members use the Tahoe/Avalanche Z71 shocks that usually come for free with the Z71 springs they buy off Ebay. Needs some spacer/shim work to make them fit, but it's relatively trivial. Run a search and you'll see how other folks made them work.
If you're lifting for appearance and not functional offroading - keep the OEM shocks or the Bilstein HD replacments.
