I know you guys did everything but kick me off this website but I commenced on installing my powered sub and can't figure out how to take the both off the positive terminal to install my adapter and was wondering if anyone knows why I can't get power off the one inside my vehicle. Thanks to whomever replies.

Don't I have to take the bolts out of the terminals to install my adapter or how does that work?

yes you do, on the inside of the red "boot" there is a retainer - hold it with ***** and back the bolt out
