Ok, kinda an odd problem. My diagnostics jack under the dash of my '06 TB LT not only shows no codes, but does not power up the code reader. I get the random traction control failure, so there should be something. Is it possible for the car to run with a dead or bad computer? Second question, HOW DO I GO ABOUT CHANGING MY BATTERY WITHOUT KILLING THE CAR?!?

Since your code reader does not power up, the first thing to check is fuse #13 in the underhood fuse box. That fuse is for the cigarette lighter power as well as the OBDII port.

One\ce you have the OBDII port active again you can see if there are any fault codes, and you can post them here.

Disconnecting the battery and changing it will not "kill" anything.

I have power in all 3 lighters. Also, forgot to mention, remote lock/unlock only works one time in probably 50 pushes. I will check power again this pm.
