2005 GMC ENVOY XL DENALI

I'm just wondering what wire or fuse did you guy tap into to power on your backup camera
I currently have a PIONEER AVH 1400 NEX and I am using the PAC RP5 GM-11 Harness
Yes I am hooking up to the PURPLE/WHITE connection wire from the Pioneer Harness
But what did you guys hook up too and where can I find it, I don't want to run a wire all the way from the back reverse light

You're SUPPOSED to hook up to the backup light B+ side to activate the camera only when you are actually in Reverse,

Your wire provided with the camera shouild have the taps on it to make that connection and unless you're running BlueTooth, then you already have a wire running all the way from front to rear anyway --- right?

That idea's subject to your needs and ideals though.

Personally I grabbed a circuit that was ON during Key ON conditions only. That way I can turn it on when I want to, not just when in reverse.
