First off im not really sure where to put this thread. I was wondering if maybe anyone out there has done this or if it is even possible to do. I would like to install something in the back of my 02 tb so that i can open the back hatch from the inside instead of having to get out and walk all the way around. I do a lot of camping in the mountains and normally just sleep in the back. if i could figure out a way to do this it would be amazing instead of having to come and go through one of the rear doors and crawl over the folded down seats.

ok. found it, but what i was thinking about doing is finding a way to attach some sort of cable in there so i could just pull that to get out. a way to make it easier and simpler.

That sounds like a good idea. Keep it short enough so it won't get caught in the lock. Or put a hook and eye to keep it out of the way.
