hi, i have an 02 envoy 6cyl. I have changed the shift linkage after it snapped and a few months on the car no longer comes out of park. I have replaced the fuse which keeps blowing, so i changed the solenoid under the shift lever which allows the shifter button to be depressed. But the fuse keeps blowing! any suggestions?

I can press the solenoid from the side then move the shifter and drive but my wife wants the console back on which would make this impossible. Any help appreciated guys and gals.

:tiphatHi, and welcome to the site. It sounds to me like you have a pinched or shorted wire. Check all wires in that series and hopefully you will find your problem. Please take time to fill out your user CP so we know what you're wheelin to better help you!:thumbsup:
