Ok my dash is crewing up bad....mostly the dic. I put a new battery in,new ignition switch...(which made it better, but not solved). Anyway....when i start driving....the amp guage will bottom out for a few seconds then return to normal, problem is when this happens it sets off all my dash alarms and dings and chimes. Alternator is solid, but when amp guage dives...it will give me the unknown driver on my dic. Im confused on this one...i cleaned all the grounds i could see...nothing seems to change it....and its sporadic ...it might not happen for 5 minutes...but then happen for 5 minutes straight.

Without being able to look at the vehicle, my guess is a poor connection, hot side or ground, or a broken hot wire.
I would look close to the alternator.
