Any Calgary TrailVoyers?

Hi All, just joined last week or so. I just picked up an '05 Envoy, we really like it (except that the check engine lights have come on!). We just had our second child and bought this vehicle for more room, comfort, and 4x4 in the winters. I really like how quiet the truck is.

Anyways, just wondering if there's any other active members in Calgary.

I'm from Airdrie, does that count? :undecided

My wife and I JUST bought an 02 Envoy SLE (we pick it up on Thursday).

Future mods include a touchscreen DVD, resonator delete, intake, chrome grill, 22's and 2/3" drop (in that order).

Well, I'm in Okotoks now and I consider myself in Calgary, so I'd say Airdrie works too!

Glad to know I'm not alone.
Another Calgarian TB here
Just picked up an 03 TB today!

I live in Calgary and I've got an '06. For now.

If I can't fix this recent electrical problem I'm having it is gone ASAP.
I hear ya. I had problems with mine since the day after I bought it. Originally it was the Throttle body positionaer...my Envoy would bog down and stall when the air conditioning was on. Got that fixed. Now there's a lull in the RPM's when I take my foot off the brake and onto the accelerator, almost to the point of bogging down and stalling.

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body? I had issues with my 06 Envoy a year back.......since I cleaned it no stalling issues whatsoever....good luck!
I've got an '03 Envoy SLE in Calgary.

I'm having some major electrical issues. Something to do with the rear door affecting the gauge cluster and radio!???:mad::(:worried:
Welcome aboard. All the answers to fix the problems are right in the forum archives  Once you take car of the original problems these go several hundred thousand miles with regular maintenance :D
I'm in Calgary

Got my 09 Envoy in March 09 to pull my boat. No problems yet with 30K on it - nothing to even take it to the dealer for like rattles or anything. So far a winner and I hope it stays that way. I changed the oil myself last weekend and thought GM had a winner until I unscrewed the oil filter and it ran down all over the frame. I thought since I drained the oil first I'b be OK but no.
I also installed a back-up sensor system a few weeks ago (from www.alpha-bid.com ~$30 USD) and I really like it and was relatively easy to do. Would consider a PCM for less tuner also but am a bit apprehensive about it since I still have a warranty. Installed a tranny cooler last weekend too - quite easy with the PCM4less fittings. Seems like the right thing to do especially since I tow a boat to Glennifer Lake.
yeah not from calgary just a little north of there in leduc. welcome

mine does the same thing, so all you had done was a new throttle body positioner and it fixed the bogging?

I did not replace the throttle body, i took it to a shop and they cleaned it with some highpowered cleaner. It has not stalled again since getting it down , but it has threatened to do so a few times. Makes me a little uneasy.
hey

hey guys .. Calgary here too. Just bought a 2005 trailblazer LT a few weeks ago. Love it so far.
Does Brooks count!!

Bought an 07 TB a month ago. Gotta love a 5.3 liter in a truck that small!
