thats what i was thinkin too,,,,i didnt want it glossy because i still wanted it to look separate from the bumper{cause it is the protective pad},,so i didnt sand it smooth and just primed and painted it.

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to sand, prep, and paint this ?

no sanding!!,,i didnt want it to have a glossy finish,,,,i didnt want it to blend in with the glossy bumper,,,i wanted it to still be noticable as the bumper pad....as for time,,id say about 2 hours for the whole project.....take off of bumper,degrease,prime,paint and reinstall.

I guess you had to mask off each individual raised portion?
yep lots of taping and then trimming with a razor blade,,,,BUT wtf im off of work so i need something to keep me busy!:bonk::bonk:
