Hi all have a 2004 envoy 4WD and amber ABS light came on did some t/s and found and open on the LEFT front wheel speed sensor has anyone ever replaced a sensor ? I have a question about the R&R it appears to have one allen screw and a rivet on the hub retaining the sensor . Does the new unit come with it ? when replacing the unit do u just drill out the rivet and install a pop rivet in it's place ?

Got er fixed !! wooohooo no mo light haha the wheel speed sensor is secured with one allen screw be careful when removing sensor from hub do not pry use pulling twisting motion the hardest part of the job was removing the harness clips and the connector . Note after the r&r the light still on go for drive to generate signal for the EBCM to "learn" the new sensor then the light should go out .time for r&r approx .5 hr cost for a/c delco sensor 67.00 Canadian taxes in
