Hey guys,

I got into an accident today, some person cut me off while I was in the passing lane going 65-70mph, I immediately locked my brakes up which in combination with the speed caused me to swerve into a 180....hit the curb and tipped over landing on the drivers side. Pretty good damage..,,everything on the drivers side needs to be replaced..both doors, both bumpers, fenders, windshield, ect.. from what I've heard its a 50/50 shot if its totaled....

I won't know if the truck is totaled till tuesday when insurance looks at it. Truck has 84,000miles and its an 2003

One question I do have is the truck doesn't start....one of my friends said it may because there's a fail safe device that would shut the fuel pump off and only a tech 2 can clear it, when you get into an accident??? I've never heard of this but it sounds logical....what do you guys think?

Thanks for the support guys,

They didn't and probably won't catch the person who cut me off....I was too busy trying to keep my truck on the road, and the witness didn't get it either. No tickets were issued, however I still have to pay my deductible

Anybody else have a comment on if there is a fuel pump fail safe shut off when you get into an accident for trailvoys? I'm just trying to diagnose beforehand if my powertrain is messed up or not.
