I got the 40 series flowmaster muffler, had the resonator cut off and had a tip welded on with 3" tubing! As I was going through here,someone said that the muffler got too hot, I was wondering what this had to do with, ya'll think I should do something about this, like as to taking the flowmaster off? I would appreciate some feedback! Thanks!

You lost me......you were going through where??? ......which muffler??? you were wondering what it had to do with what??
mine has been perfect since 2006
As I was going through the website! And I know the muffler gets hot, but hot enough to catch Fire? Anyways, Went back to the muffler shop Put the factory muffler back on the 40 series sounds to rice to me at about two thousand rpm!
