I don't actually see where a new starter is indicated.

You killed a battery --- which maybe could have been recharged --- but, anyway --- you installed it (correctly? Let's hope so), and then no crank?

That's just odd.

Are there any indicators that the lights on the dash don't light up at least?​

Do you hear the fuel pump cycle?​

Key On/Engine Off --- do the wipers work?​

The radio?​

The horn?​

The windows?​

C'mon man! (I didn't say that, did I?) We need more help than what you've posted so far.

Thanks for your reply. I just got home from hospital for a week and saw your answer. I just now checked out all your questions and all items are working except the fuel pump is not heard. All dash lights work.

Anything else u can suggest to do?

IIRC ---> GM uses a solid purple wire to the Startex post on the starter solenoid.

I'd check for power at it (momentarily) as someone turns the key to START.
