2008 Trailblazer - Disconnected wire

I recently replaced my Throttle Body and in the process noticed this disconnected cable in the attached photos. The cable is Purple with a white line and leads back the the firewall on the drivers side.
Any ideas what this wire is for and where it connects?

This is one half of a Scotch-Loc connector and is NOT GM (or any manufacturer, really) authorized.

Thank you. I suspected it may have been aftermarket from the alarm system but wanted to confirm.

TYPICAL crappy installation by those dropout alarm "installers" - unless it was the previous owner playing with silly lights or --- whatever.

Never use Scotch-Locs on any low voltage connections --- they fail and corrode and cause all kinds-a grief.
