I did a quick search for this answer with no luck, so forgive me if I'm rehashing an old topic.

I'm looking to buy new tires for my 2006 Trailblazer. The truck is the short wheelbase model with the LT package (including leather interior). I'm concerned about what load rated tire I should buy - 105s or 107s. The 107s were OE. I'm concerned because we tow a travel trailer quite often, and I don't want to exceed the load with the weight distribution hitch and tongue weight. Anybody know the dry weight of the truck with full fuel load and no passengers so I can calculate the wheel weights?

I'm considering the Continentals that are OE or the BFG Long Trail if anyone has specific experience with these also.

Found lots of specs for the gross allowable - but no data for unloaded. I guess the closest is the 1,227 lbs subtracted from the gross allowable - but that spec will differ depending on the options package. I'm really looking to see if someone has put a similar vehicle across a set of scales already to get the true unloaded weight.
