I went out and looked again and found it. The engineer who designed that must have a few loose screws.

Is there a write somewhere on replacing it. What degree thermostat was originally in there?

Thanks for the info. The job doesn't look hard, just take a while to get it done.

The engineer who designed that must have a few loose screws.
Not as many loose screws as when they decided to bolt the front differential to the side of the oil pan & then run the axle through the oil pan. o_O

I'm currently in the middle of replacing the Power Steering Lines on my Trailblazer which turned out to be a pretty time consuming job. Provided I don't run into anymore issues, My next project will probably be the thermostat/housing & new hoses.
