A 285/40/22 is probably what you want, but the tire would be 31" tall, you may not clear the balljoint, I believe you must keep the tire diameter under 30.75" to clear the balljoint. Your 265/40/22 is 30.3" & 285/35/22 would be wider but 29.9" diameter, a tad shorter & almost the same sidewall protection.

I stuck with 265/40/22 they seem fine no rubbing no issues, what air pressure is correct, do i stick with the original pressure or does it change since i got bigger rims, the original was 17s its 35psi rear and 30psi front

I keep mine at 38-40psi cold. That's what I would recommend. Those factory recommendations 30-35psi have always seemed too low to me..
